I love this “Life Questions” tag I received from @CicelyRenee AKA Bougie Black Blogger. If you want to know more about Cicely, check out my post about a group she and I created together by clicking here. I have excepted the tag/challenge and I’m giving my answers in this post. This tag made me think a lot about my life, questions like these really help put things in perspective. Here goes!
- Choose only 5 people in your life for the rest of your life to live with.
Answer: This was very difficult for me at first, because I was thinking about it in a sense of not being able to ever see my family members again, then I read the question over a few times and realized that wasn’t the case. My answer is pretty simple, there is only one person that I want to live with for the rest of my life and that is my husband, Antoine Hunter. We have 3 children, but I’m pretty sure I don’t want to live with them for the rest of my life, maybe for about 19 or 20 years.
- Why do you exist?
Answer: I believe I exist because God created me and there is something He wants me to do for Him and some things He wants me to see and/or experience. I feel I’ve accomplished some of the things already and that is having my children and being the best mother I can be.
- Design your perfect day–tell us.
Answer: My perfect day consists of waking up in the morning feeling well rested, getting the day started with no delay or rush. The children are satisfied with whatever I cook for breakfast and finish all of their food. The baby is totally potty trained and using the bathroom with no assistance. My Husband has the day off so we spend alone time together while the children are taking naps. The children take 3 hour naps all at once:-) I am able to talk on the phone with my parents and friends for a few minutes without being interrupted by noise. I have time to play with the children and watch a few movies, making sure they are having fun. We make snacks and eat junk food. I am able to take a nap if I please. I prepare dinner and dessert around 4p.m.and everyone is satisfied and happy. The children go to bed and fall asleep promptly at 9p.m. and remain sleep through the night. My husband and I enjoy each other’s time and fall asleep together.
- Now that you have designed that day, you have to live that exact same day forever–what are some things you would change?
Answer: If I had to change something about this day, it would be to hire a chef to prepare the dinner and I would add a family prayer in the morning and evening. I’d get rid of the 9p.m. bedtime since I’ll be feeling well rested every morning no matter what. Oh and add that the rest of the family will also feel well rested and worry free.
- If people treated you the way you treated them, would you like it or not?
Answer: I would love it! I actually say this to myself sometime. I try to treat people in a way that I would want to be treated as much as possible.
- What is the one thing you would love to have for the rest of your life?
Answer: The one thing I’d love to have for the rest of my life is my family, including my parents.
- You, yourself are a charity-what would you represent and why?
Answer: I would represent short black mom’s :-), because we are a minority that literally gets looked over.
- Peace, Love or Happiness for life, choose one…
Answer: I choose happiness because I feel it encompasses peace and love. In order for me to be happy, I have to have peace and love.
