What’s the Big Announcement?
Hey Motivators! I have missed you all dearly. I was writing blog posts on almost a daily basis and seemed to slowly trickle down to not posting at all. To be honest, at first I had writers block. I was thinking of things to write about, but I couldn’t get the words out. Then I went to visit family for a few weeks and kept putting it off. Finally, when I got home and settled in for a week or two I found out I was pregnant with our 4th child! YES, The Methodical Mom is PREGNANT!
I can’t say I was surprised because my husband and I have discussed wanting more children and when we would be alright with adding another little one to our tribe. I was excited when I first took the test, then I became afraid because I am older now. Then I started thinking about my family and even my ancestors. It’s hard to believe they would have wanted childbirth to be about fear. I decided I was not going to let fear get the best of me. I prayed that everything would be alright and decided to let faith lead us.
I can’t make any promises, but I am planning to bring some of my pregnancy to the blog. I’ve never shared much about my being pregnant in the past so this will be new for me. Since this is baby number 4, we are planning a home birth which will also be a first. I have put so much thought into this and in the past I considered it, but let my fear conquer my intent. This time, if all goes well, I’m going through with it. We have hired a group of certified nurse midwives who have a wealth of experience and knowledge when it comes to child birth. I may get into the details about their services in another post. I will say that my appointments with them have been the best appointments I’ve ever had!
I’ll be adding some pictures of my bump progression soon! Let me know if there is anything specific you want to know about pregnancy, delivery or even trying to conceive and I’ll share what I know. Hope to hear from you!
A big Shout Out to all the pregnant Mama’s! You rock!
